If you want to use Magento for daily sales quantities over 10 orders then you should consider installing Order Manager - otherwise you are going to get swamped. Out of the box it's a nightmare processing orders in Magento. Some of our clients were even holding back on advertising, so they don't increase their orders too much (10 orders a day can already be a pretty full workload in standard Magento.) We have written this Extension to allow them to process orders in bulk and to happily handle 100s of orders each day (without taking on extra staff AND be able to keep track of what is going on!) Our typical client wants to be able to mark all orders as shipped with one click. This is now possible with Magento. How it Works


We have added 3 extra dropdown options to the Order Page Action List: ‘Invoice Selected’, ‘Ship Selected’ and 'Invoice+Ship Selected' are now possible with 1 click via the drop down list. Simply select the orders you want to process, select from the drop down and click ‘submit’. Additional mass actions are capture (for workflows utilising Auth and Capture payment methods) and plain status updates (both 1.4.1+ only). The selected action will then execute on these orders as if you had gone into the particular order and done it manually for all items of the order. Any emails that would normally be sent when you process an order individually will still be sent as normal according to Sales Emails settings.




Mass adding tracking information (Magento 1.4.1+)


Starting with Magento 1.4.1. you can save even more time by mass entering tracking information straight from the order overview page.

  1. Unpack the downloaded zip file to your Magento root folder.
  2. Delete the contents of the /var/cache folder to force Magento to update its configuration (alternatively refresh the configuration cache in your Magento backend).

    i use third party extension for invoicing. so not the default invoice function from magento. BUT can ordermanager use the 3rd party extension instead of the internal one?? cant find settings for that in the demo

    When doing a batch shipping with tracking code it gives an error. I've sent an 2 emails but no response yet. It has been a week. Hopefully he will respond soon. I'm using 1.5.0.1

    Hi Fooman. I'm hoping you can reply to me soon as I need some help. The Order Manager is making all orders than come in "Processing (Unpaid)" when many of these are SagePay paid for orders. How can I stop it doing this? Thanks in advance.

    We just puchased your order manager. Is there any way to get the tracking numbers into the orders? We want to process the orders in bulk, but also insert tracking numbers. Is there any way to do this? If not, are you planning to add this feature in the future?
